Learn the answers to some of the most common questions that we receive.

Commonly Asked Questions

bullet What's wrong with the plastic bowl style machines? The plastic bowl style machines will get the job done but not as well as the commercial style stainless machines that we rent. Plastic bowl machines can take 2 to 3 hours to freeze a mix. Our machines by comparison freeze the mix in 10 to 30 minutes. Another disadvantage of bowl style machines is that when you add more mix you must wait for the entire bowl to refreeze leading to much downtime. Our machines on the other hand add mix automatically as product is removed from the freezing chamber. This means that you get a consistent flow of product all night long with little work on your part.
bullet Do I have to keep the machine inside? While we do recommend keeping the machine inside our machines are powerful enough to work perfectly outside. Just keep them in a shaded area.
bullet Are the machines hard to use? No the machines are very user friendly. We will set them up for you and even prepare your first mix. Usually all you have to do is turn the machine on 30 minutes before your party and turn it off when it is over. If your party is large enough to require an additional mix we will leave you easy to follow printed instructions on how to mix it and add it to the machine.
bullet Do you provide the liquor? No we require you to provide the alcohol for your drink mixes. Please try to have the alcohol ready when we arrive so that we can mix the first batch for you
bullet How many drinks does a batch serve? A typical batch of margaritas will yield 70 8 ounce drinks. That is typically enough to serve 25 people on average.
bullet How many people will one machine handle? One of our machines will easily handle the demand of 50 to 60 people. If you have more than that you should consider renting a second machine. Discounts will be given for additional machine rentals.
